How the Links Came Together
IC Links was a long time in the making.
Throughout my life, each season has brought experiences that shaped the next. For a long time, I did what so many of us do. I kept moving. Family, children, work, bills, responsibilities, and a million different directions made it easy to push down the things I was struggling with and tell myself I would deal with them later.
Eventually, I needed to slow down and learn a different way.
Through that process, I discovered something important about myself: tangible reminders help me remember. They help me stay connected to the progress I've made, what I'm working toward, and what matters when everyday life gets loud.
I also began to see how our experiences link together. The good, the difficult, the lessons, and the growth all become pieces of our story.
That's when the idea of a charm bracelet began to make sense.
But I didn't want just any charms. I needed them to mean something.
I'm a private person. I didn't want to advertise what I was feeling or explain what I was wearing. I wanted something that could simply be mine, a small reminder I could look at during a busy day and know exactly what it meant to me, even if no one else did.
Living intentionally has brought a sense of peace to my life, and the charms became a way to carry that intention with me. The collections and their meanings grew from my own experiences and the different seasons of life I've walked through.
What began as something I needed for myself became something I hoped might be meaningful to others, too.
My hope is that when you're having one of those days, your charms give you a moment to slow down and remember where you've been, where you are, what you're striving for, or simply what matters to you.
And that's how IC Links was born.
IC stands for Intentional Charms.
Links represents the way our experiences connect to what comes next.
